Horizon Youth Theatre

From early on, a series of summer classes and workshops were made available that aimed at helping young people develop stage performance skills. Over the years the group has produced about 26 performances and provided a large number of the area's youth with valuable learning experiences.

The Campus Experience

The Campus Experience section on BG File now begins offering a series of stories put together with the support of the Office of Admissions at Bowling Green State University.

The stories highlight many of the outstanding programs and services available at the university. Watch for new Campus Experience stories to be added regularly over the coming months.

Visit Campus Experience...

BG File stories are now showing on a new 52" flat panel display in the Admissions Office in McFall Center on BGSU's main campus. The stories playing on the screen showcase campus life and activities to the office's many visiting perspective students and their families.

Sea Lion Studio helped design and install the custom display, along with a separate Welcome Panel screen that presents daily-updated information for visitors.

Coming This Month to BG File...

Part of an updated City Government section on BG File. CITY 101 is a series of videos and other content produced with the City of Bowling Green. The series explores the many facets of local city government and how it works here in Bowling Green.

The first CITY 101 installments explain what it means to be a City Charter type government, and what the roles are of the Mayor and the Municipal Administrator. Other upcoming topics include: Parks & Recreation, City Utilities, Recycling, and many more.
