Myles Family Business
The first Myles family-owned business was a grocery store opened in the 1940's, and from then on the Myles name has been behind a number of local business ventures in Bowling Green. Currently members of the Myles family are involved in operating Myles Baker Street, Myles Pizza Pub, and Myles Dairy Queen, all of which have become regular parts of life for many in the city of Bowling Green.
The Myles family has always favored the approach of starting from an idea and developing a business, and they haven't shied from the work involved. Chip Myles, current owner of Myles Pizza Pub and Dairy Queen grew up working in the family businesses, and recalls enjoying the opportunity the involvement provided him for doing what he loved for a living. Chip's daughter Meredith Myles, who owns and operates Myles Baker Street, helped as a kid in the flower shop and later worked at the Dairy Queen and the Pizza Pub as well.
Common to all Myles family business is the hands-on involvement of the owners in the day to day operations, including interacting with customers. At each Myles business, along with generous helpings of good food, there is also a feeling of home.
